1) Overview

Kalon (“the App”) helps you turn big goals into daily routines using AI over a 66-day consistency plan. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2) What We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account & Contact: name, email, and similar details if you create an account or contact support.
  • Onboarding & Goal Data: your answers to onboarding questions, goals, habits, routines, tasks, notes, and preferences you enter in-app.

Automatically collected

  • Usage & Diagnostics: interactions, feature usage, crash logs, performance data.
  • Device Data: device model, OS version, language, time zone, app version, and general identifiers (not used to track you across other companies’ apps).

Optional integrations (only with your permission)

  • If you opt in to features that connect device data (e.g., calendar, reminders, notifications, screen time, motion/fitness data, HealthKit/Google Fit where applicable), we access only the minimum necessary to provide those features. You can revoke access at any time in your device settings.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories (e.g., health diagnoses) unless you voluntarily provide them in free-text fields.

3) How We Use Data

  • Provide and personalize the App (including AI-generated routines, habits, and tasks).
  • Maintain safety, integrity, and performance of the App (debugging, analytics, and security).
  • Communicate with you (support, service messages, product updates, and—if you opt in—marketing).
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4) Legal Bases (EEA/UK users)

We process personal data as needed to perform our contract with you (provide the App), with your consent (optional integrations, marketing), to comply with law, and for our legitimate interests (security, improvement, fraud prevention).

5) Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only with:

  • Service Providers / Processors: e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and AI processing vendors that act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Legal & Safety: if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business Transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (your rights will be preserved, and we will notify you where required).

6) Retention

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the App, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data within a reasonable period unless a longer retention period is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal recordkeeping).

7) Your Choices & Rights

  • Access, Correct, Delete: You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
  • Withdraw Consent: You can disable optional integrations in your device settings and unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
  • Portability & Restriction (where applicable): EEA/UK users may request data portability or restriction/objection to certain processing.
  • California Residents: We do not “sell” or “share” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. You may request access, correction, or deletion.

8) Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (including encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate). No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information continuously.

10) International Transfers

If you use the App outside the United States, your data may be processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual clauses).

11) Do Not Track

We do not respond to Do Not Track signals at this time.

12) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Effective Date.” Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email where required.
